At SAIC, we believe that a focus on inclusion and diversity (I&D) creates an environment that fosters innovation, collaboration, empowerment, and creativity. We call our I&D program MOSAIC, because just as a mosaic is formed by bringing together numerous individual pieces to create something that is greater than any single part, SAIC's culture is richer and more innovative when we embrace and value our employees' differences, perspectives, and life experiences.

All of us have meaningful opportunities to contribute to business success, contributing our varied beliefs, backgrounds, talents, and capabilities. We are the MOSAIC that is SAIC.

SAIC's Dimensions of Diversity

The inclusive and diverse mixture of population and personal characteristics recognized and valued at SAIC include: Value Systems, Skills, Family Status, Religion, Function, Education, Gender, Race, Disability, Nationality, Work Style, Veteran Status, Age, Sexual Orientation, Thoughts, Life Experience, Perspective, Socio-Economic Status, Beliefs, and Heritage.

"Diversity is an integral component of business success that embraces all-inclusive teams bringing together a wide range of perspectives, skills, and experiences to develop the most innovative solutions for our customers."

Tony Moraco, SAIC Chief Executive Officer

Employee Business Resource Groups

As part of our commitment to diversity, we sponsor a number of interest-based business resource groups (BRGs) to provide opportunities for networking, mentoring, leadership development, and knowledge sharing. Although each BRG has a specific focus, all employees are invited to participate.

  • Military/Veterans BRG: advocates and provides resources for employees that currently or formerly served in our nation’s armed forces and their families. The group hosts networking events, provides mentoring opportunities to those transitioning from military service, helps with recruitment of veterans from all branches, and participates in community service projects to support military families.
  • Millennial BRG: champions the growth, development, engagement, and retention of employees in the millennial generation. The group promotes a diverse workplace and recruitment, mentoring, advancement, and leadership opportunities for millennials.
  • Women’s BRG: engages women across the company to discuss the unique challenges women face in the workplace and produces advancement, leadership, and mentoring opportunities.
  • Equality Alliance: engages lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and other employees within the company. The group focuses on enhancing the SAIC culture through understanding, communication, and training of concepts and topics related to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.
