John Walsh III is the senior vice president and general manager for SAIC’s Information Technology Solutions Market Segment, with responsibility for the company’s growth strategy focusing on software, end user services, cyber, and digital infrastructure.

He has a broad background delivering complex solutions to customers through multiple business models, including matrixed organizations. He has rich experience with diverse technology-based solutions and mission-critical systems, including those in the classified domain.

Before joining SAIC in 2018, Walsh served as vice present of Homeland Security Programs at CSRA and as executive vice president of corporate development for Newberry Group. From 2000 through 2016 Walsh held executive positions at Computer Sciences Corporation, where he led large teams delivering complex services to customers in the public and private sector.

Walsh previously worked in the public sector for nearly a decade, including for the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Command in San Diego and the U.S. Space and Missile Center in Los Angeles.

Walsh has numerous professional affiliations, including service as the chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Denmark and as a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Telecommunications & E-Commerce Committee.

Walsh holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from San Diego State University, a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University, and an executive leadership certificate from Cornell University.
