SAIC-Frederick, a wholly owned subsidiary of SAIC, is speeding the delivery of new technologies and treatments to patients with cancer and AIDS. We operate the laboratories at the National Cancer Institute at Frederick under the largest contract awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.


About the Company

SAIC-Frederick operates the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research's Federally Funded Research and Development Center, a national laboratory dedicated to cancer and AIDS research. This is the only national lab within the Department of Health and Human Services.

SAIC-Frederick's staff of scientific, technical, and support professionals conducts basic and applied research in cancer and AIDS, operate and manage the federal government's only vaccine manufacturing facilities (VPP, BDP), and runs the high-performance Advanced Biomedical Computing Center.
