MEDPROTECT's mission is to support government health-payer organizations by offering provider and beneficiary support and education, fraud and abuse detection and investigation services, health-care program oversight, and data and policy analyses.
MEDPROTECT currently provides beneficiary enrollment and education services for TRICARE beneficiaries stationed in overseas locations throughout the world. Through existing subcontracts, MEDPROTECT also provides support to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services(CMS) on contracts involving evaluation of drug plan formularies and benefits, and evaluation of alternative payment methodologies for outpatient therapy services.
Other MEDPROTECT corporate experience has included the CMS Medicare Drug Integrity Contract (MEDIC) West Region. The MEDIC program focuses on potential fraud, waste, and abuse in the Medicare Prescription Drug Program, also referred to as Medicare Part D.
In addition to the company's experience on its various contracts, MEDPROTECT's staff members have years of experience working with a wide variety of Medicare and Medicaid programs in various states, in the areas of utilization review, data analysis, audit, and benefit integrity programs. Other staff members have extensive experience supporting the TRICARE Overseas Program in a variety of roles relating to beneficiary support and education.
