John R. Hartley

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

John R. Hartley is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for SAIC. He is responsible for leading SAIC’s overall financial strategies,  operations and processes. John previously served as SAIC’s Corporate Controller and also the company’s Principle Accounting Officer, where he  led the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley transformation program. He began his career at SAIC in 2001 as Vice President and Director of Accounting Operations.

Before joining SAIC, John spent 12 years with the public accounting firm of Deloitte LLP in their Assurance and Advisory Practice where he worked with numerous clients in multiple industries but concentrated in the Aerospace and Defense industry in Los Angeles and San Diego. As a senior manager at Deloitte, John was on the capture team that was successfully awarded the independent audit services contract from SAIC from their  predecessor auditor. As senior manager, John served on the SAIC engagement for the final four years of his tenure at Deloitte prior to joining the company in 2001.

John graduated from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1989 and is a Certified Public Accountant.
