Anthony J. Moraco

Chief Executive Officer

Tony Moraco is Chief Executive Officer of SAIC. Prior to the separation of SAIC into two publicly traded companies in September 2013, he was president of SAIC’s Government Solutions Group. He also served as President of SAIC’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group, and previously was Executive Vice President for Operations and Performance Excellence, where he led the delivery of enterprise services.

Tony joined SAIC in February 2006 and served as both Business Unit General Manager and Deputy of the Space and Geospatial Intelligence Business Unit, where he led programs for U.S. Air Force space missions, National Reconnaissance Office, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and other programs within the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense.

Before joining SAIC, Tony was with the Boeing Company from 2000 to 2006. There, he served as Deputy General Manager of mission systems in the Space & Intelligence Systems organization, as well as the Director of Homeland Security Technology Integration. In these roles, he led programs focused on space ground segments, geospatial technology, and homeland security solutions.

Tony began his career at Autometric, Inc. in 1984 and served in multiple positions including Senior Vice President for Corporate Development with management authority of corporate departments. He also developed geospatial production and imagery exploitation solutions. From 1992-1993, Tony was a program manager at TASC for a National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency contract for enhanced digital mapping solutions.

Tony earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Virginia Tech. He is a board member for the Northern Virginia  Technology Council, the Virginia Tech College of Engineering Advisory Board, and Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit organization that provides emergency assistance to military families.
