Mark Schultz
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Mark Schultz is General Counsel for SAIC. As the company’s senior legal adviser, Mark assumes leadership and oversight responsibility for the legal affairs and risk management activities of the company. He is a member of SAIC’s executive leadership team and reports directly to the CEO.
Specializing in technology, finance and corporate governance, Mark has nearly 30 years of experience in the legal field. He joined SAIC after serving as Chief Legal and Risk Officer and Corporate Secretary for MWH Global Inc., an engineering, construction services, software and management consulting company based in Denver. Previously, Mark was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for SRA International and General Counsel for Raytheon’s Missile Systems business. While at SRA, he was responsible for all legal matters of the business, including corporate governance, securities, international, acquisitions and divestitures, commercial and governmental contracts, joint ventures, litigation, intellectual property, labor, real estate, and export and import control.
Mark also was a partner in the global law firms Sidley Austin and Perkins Coie where he oversaw legal strategies supporting large-scale projects in construction, telecommunications and aerospace industries. As an outside attorney representing Universal Studios, Schultz also negotiated a $1.6 billion theme park project in Osaka, Japan.
Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and foreign service from Alma College and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Harvard Law Review.
