For the Air Force, SAIC made progress in expanding its Omaha presence, which established SAIC as a national leader in Computer-Aided Logistic Support (CALS)
The company won a new contract for a new control center at the Army Electronic Training Range at Fort Irwin, California, the National Training Center
SAICs health care business continued its growth with the Phase 1 contract for the Tri Services Management Information Services (TRIMIS) program, developing an automated information system for military hospitals
SAIC also made major progress toward developing an explosives detection system
