Our S3 Team: Making an Investment in the Area

Our Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) team members have been chosen not only for their technical qualifications but also for their Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) facilities and investment plans for the surrounding area. We will continue our current work as well as expand our team's service offerings, focused with an APG point of presence, and drawing from our team's talent pool of over 5,000 engineers and scientists in the Aberdeen - Baltimore corridor.

The Largest Science and Technology Company in Harford County

SAIC has over 900 employees in the Aberdeen, MD community, and is the largest science and technology company in Harford County. We plan to transition Fort Monmouth-based staff in a logical fashion to follow the missions and programs managed by the command and tenant program executive offices (PEOs). Our local staff, currently supporting projects at APG and Edgewood Arsenal, are skilled in systems engineering, logistics and training disciplines.

Existing Facilities Within 10 Minutes of APG

SAIC maintains three large facilities within 10 minutes of APG:

• 145,000 sq. ft. of office space (our main Abingdon, MD campus, with the latest VTC technology and secure Web Hosting)
• 45,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space (includes a hardware test facility)
• 4,000 sq. ft. of lab space (houses SAIC's Integration and Assurance Center)

On-Demand Resources

These facilities can be configured for joint use with the government and for special project support in events where the new Army APG C4ISR campus is not fully ready to house all required capabilities. This very large facility footprint reduces SAIC's transition risk for the move from Fort Monmouth, and provides the command with added on-demand resources.
