Aquatic Sciences - Marine, Freshwater & Wetlands

SAIC has been a leader in conducting environmental assessment and monitoring programs and studies in marine, coastal, and estuarine environments since the mid 1970's. SAIC's aquatic environmental team includes over 200 staff located in offices along the East, West and Gulf Coasts of the U.S. SAIC has conducted many hundreds of projects in aquatic environments throughout the United States, including Hawaii and Guam.

SAIC staff are extensively integrated and networked to provide a full range of services that are cost-effectively implemented from numerous local offices. Our multidisciplinary staff includes biologists, botanists, ecologists, oceanographers, water and sediment quality professionals and chemists, cultural resource archaeologists, air quality scientists and modelers, and GIS and information transfer specialists. Our staff have prepared hundreds of reports and studies in compliance with environmental regulations, including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), State-equivalent EIRs, Clean Air and Water Acts, Endangered Species Act, and National Historic Preservation Act.

SAIC is committed to providing high value service and innovative solutions based on objective science. Our reputation for quality work and defensible reports has resulted in highly successful programs for a full range of federal, state, and local agencies as well as commercial clients including energy generation, oil and gas companies, ports, sanitation districts, telecommunication companies, water conservation and supply districts, and the building/development industry.
