Pioneering Innovative, Cost-Effective Methods
SAIC scientists have pioneered the use of innovative, cost-effective methods to collect, process, and deliver information to support dredging and disposal management decisions. Our approach has evolved over 20 years providing expert services to a diverse group of national agencies, various state agencies, and commercial enterprises.
In assisting our customers with projects involving contaminated sediments, SAIC provides exceptional capabilities in support of Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA)-type studies and documentation from initial preliminary assessments/site investigations, remedial investigations, feasibility studies (including essential fish habitat assessments, habitat equivalency evaluations, and threatened and endangered species studies), records of decisions/proposed plans, remedial design, and post-habitat mitigation, long-term monitoring plans, and five-year reviews.
