Wetlands and Waterways

SAIC provides environmental services for a broad range of projects involving studies and restoration of freshwater and tidal wetlands.

Technical Expertise

SAIC’s capabilities include technical expertise in jurisdictional determinations of wetlands and waterways for federal, state, and local permit programs; functional assessments; mitigation design; and monitoring programs. Our personnel include highly experienced ecologists, biologists, chemists, soil scientists, and regulatory experts to provide a full range of technical and regulatory services related to wetlands.

SAIC’s scientific and regulatory experts provide integrated approaches to help ensure that wetlands issues and associated habitat concerns are successfully addressed from technical, logistical, regulatory, and cost perspectives. Wetland habitats are intricately related to a variety of environmental issues, such as rare, threatened, and endangered species, essential fish habitat, water quality, and watershed planning initiatives.
