Airport Enterprise Content Management (ECM)

Using the EMC product, Documentum®, SAIC can help U.S. airports go 'paperless'. This effort involves deploying an enterprise-wide content management system that stores all documents, images, web data, drawings and other electronic content in a central repository. It also includes the re-engineering of business practices as well as developing workflows to automate those practices to increase efficiency and also meet regulatory guidelines. By using Documentum, SAIC is able to integrate several key systems, such as security, finance, human resources, facilities, engineering, and airport operations. This allows the sharing of information between the various departments and also improves airport personnel's ability to archive and retrieve information and execute their records management plan.
