Support to U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program

Through a contract with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego, Biosciences Division, SAIC provides more than 100 animal care and training support staff to the U.S. Navy's Marine Mammal Program. Training is an important element of a Navy animal's life. In addition to achieving the remarkable and cost effective work the animals do in the open ocean, training also facilitates husbandry and medical care procedures, and provides the mental and physical stimulation that contribute to overall health and welfare.

Animal Behavior Management - Staff Development Services

Staff development - Interactive and exceptionally effective training from highly respected and experienced instructors. Our effective animal management includes animal training and enrichment from internationally recognized experts. BioSolutions is a charter member of the Animal Behavior Management Association.

EARS - Electronic Animal Records

The Electronic Animal Records System (EARS) developed by SAIC, provides a role-based multi-site ASP solution to maintaining animal records for your facility. Electronic Animal Records is a user-friendly, reliable and efficient system for recording your animal collection data, including medical, breeding and animal husbandry information. Capabilities include automated download of diagnostic results. Our professionals will work with your facility to customize EARS to meet your needs, as well as to provide support services to integrate, install, host and even maintain the system if needed.
