About the Contract

Alliant was born out of the recognition that federal agencies need an easy-to-use, updated vehicle for procuring high-quality information technology (IT) support services. At this time in the rapidly evolving federal marketplace, government agencies are seeking to use IT to improve efficiency, provide better service, and address the overall challenge to "work smarter, not harder."

The General Services Administration (GSA) Alliant contract offers a unique opportunity for federal agencies worldwide to quickly and efficiently purchase SAIC's IT services in infrastructure services, application services, and IT management services. The contract also contains provisions allowing agencies to purchase new technology as it is developed.

Scope

As a leading technology company with an established track record of performance with GSA, SAIC is well-positioned to support the Alliant contract over its anticipated 10-year performance period, with a five-year base period and one five-year option, from August 03, 2007 to August 02, 2017.
