The SAIC team concept for CIO-SP2i is to provide a large, well-managed team that is able to maximize task order opportunities, ensure adequate bench strength in all task areas, and emphasize and exceed small business subcontracting goals. This team:

• Augments SAIC's IT skills and expertise with the consulting, ERP, digital government, clinical support and telecommunications capabilities of leading large businesses to provide world class capability in all task areas.
• Provides a large number of small businesses with (1) solid technical credentials in all task areas; (2) commitment to the health care market and extensive experience at the NIH; and (3) existing business relationships with SAIC.
• Compliments the capabilities of both large and small companies with leading edge product and solution providers with whom they already have experience to deliver effective solutions.
