Software Development
Comprises any and all phases of software design and development, including deployment to ensure DHS applications and databases will enable their users to meet their mission goals consistent with cost, schedule and performance objectives. These efforts include the full range of software design, development, implementation and integration, including, but not limited to, concept development, planning, requirements definition and analysis, systems design and development, coding and testing, production, deployment, implementation, integration, and software application maintenance.

Scope of Service: O2K is a full software life-cycle support contract that addresses all of the services contemplated under FC4 of DHS EAGLE. Software Design and Development (concept development, planning, requirements definition and analysis, systems design and development, coding and testing): SAIC provided technical, programmatic, and logistical services to customers involved in developing, acquiring, and supporting a broad array of U.S. Army missile and aviation weapon systems. Specifically, SAIC delivered the full system software life-cycle support for more than 40 weapons systems, variants, simulations, and training devices. Services included systems engineering; software development and sustainment, system integration and testing, concept definition; requirements analysis; system and component design; analysis of alternatives; vulnerability and risk assessments, technology insertion; simulation and modeling; laboratory analysis and demonstration; cost estimates; value engineering; interoperability testing; and support to military and joint warfighter exercises and demonstrations. These services were provided for the Army RDEC community, including the Software Engineering Directorate (SED), U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) and Program Executive Officers of Air and Missile Defense, Aviation, and Tactical Missile missions. |
