Waste Management Services
SAIC shall conduct analyses of options under consideration for Waste Management Services. We will perform activities such as data collection, data development, analyses of comments, regulatory and economic analyses, feasibility analyses, hazard assessments, exposure assessments, and risk analyses. Services include, but are not limited to development of waste characterization studies and recommendations for management strategy including identification of recycling options. Assessments might include studies relating to collection and transfer of waste, source reduction, and evaluation of energy/fuel options. Services could include data collection, data development, analyses of comments, regulatory and economic analyses, feasibility analyses, hazard assessments, exposure assessments and risk analyses.
SAIC has demonstrated its competence in waste management services during 25 years of support to various environmental offices within DoD, 15 years of support to the DOE Office of Environmental Management, and 18 years of support to the EPA Office of Solid Waste.
Waste management services include:
- Hazard and Exposure Assessments
- Review of Technologies and Processes Impacting Waste Management
- Waste Characterization Studies
- Review and Recommendation of Waste Tracking or Handling Systems
- Development of Waste Management Plans
- Furnishing of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) by Compact Disc, On-Line via Internet, Mail or Facsimile (FAX)
- Report and Compliance Software, Hazardous Materials Tracking Software and Other Related Software/Services
- Creation and Maintenance of HAZMAT Tracking Systems
- Source reduction, Waste minimization, Recycling, and Energy/Fuel Options
