Introduction

Pathfinder is a complete, award-winning suite of computer tools designed to facilitate the processing and analysis of data derived from large and diverse information sources. SAIC has incorporated over 22 years of analyst input into Pathfinder software technology.

This engineering effort allows users to reach new levels of productivity in the effective processing and analysis of data. Pathfinder is built by analysts, for analysts and is not intended to replace human intelligence in the analytical process. Instead Pathfinder aids the analyst in performing their job by offering tools that support the collection, analysis, production and dissemination of a first rate intelligence product.

The SAIC Software Support Bundle for Pathfinder Version 5.6 is offered to agencies of the United States government. It is required to operate Pathfinder as it provides both the text search engine and data extraction component of the overall software application. The Pathfinder Support Bundle is based on a Client/Server Architecture which is reflected in the pricing structure. The Pathfinder license price is based on a concurrent user set basis.

Software maintenance and technical support must be acquired at the time of application installation, and represents an annual fee equivalent to 10% of the Price Per User Set of the installed Pathfinder product. Subsequent software maintenance and technical support fees are due in full prior to the start of the next annual maintenance and technical support period.
