Services and Rates
The Special Item Numbers or SINs available under this contract provide for a wide range of logistics services. SAIC provides logistics services under the following SINs:
SIN 874-501 - Supply and Value Chain Management Services
Services include planning, development, management, operation, and maintenance of logistics and inventory systems; supply and repair procurement services; warehouse operation; and the design, operation and maintenance of distribution and material handling systems.
SIN 874-502 - Acquisition Logistics
Services include Acquisition Logistics or Integrated Logistics Support associated with the design, development, test, production, fielding, sustainment, improvement, and disposal of systems from design through the life cycle of the system or product and supply and repair procurement services.
SIN 874-503 - Distribution & Transportation Logistics Services
Services include planning, design, implementation, or operation of systems or facilities for the movement of goods, supplies, equipment or people by road, air, water, rail, or pipeline.
SIN 874-504 - Deployment Logistics Services
Services include planning, movement, storage, communications and logistics systems to permit rapid deployment and management of supplies and equipment support regional or global resources, identify alternative capabilities, and integrate public and private resources.
SIN 874-505 - Logistics Training Services
Services include training in system operations and automated tools for supply and value chain management, property and inventory management, distribution and transportation management and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
SIN 874-506 - Support Products
Products delivered in direct support of services provided under the other SINs. These products could include training manuals, CD-ROMs, overhead slides, logistics software, etc. utilized in performing a task.A full description of each SIN and examples of the types of work covered by the SIN are provided in the LOGWORLD Price Catalog.
SIN 874-507 - Operations & Maintenance Logistics Management and Support Services
Services providing the best practices, technologies, and methodologies to plan, design, manage, operate and maintain reliable and efficient systems, equipment, facilities and logistics infrastructures. Includes complete turnkey operations, maintenance and support services, or components to improve equipment and logistics performance, and reduce life cycle costs.
