Web Conferencing
SAIC uses WebEx for web conferencing, facilitating collaboration among SAIC clients and employees.
SAIC provides web conferencing as a service to SAIC clients and employees through WebEx. Web conferencing facilitates collaboration by allowing participants to share documents and applications over the Internet. Similarly to participating in a telephone conference call, where many people from different locations hold a meeting using the telephone, web conferencing allows you to set up a meeting via your computer, where participants have a wide range of tools with which to communicate.
About WebEx
WebEx is compatible with all major operating systems and Internet browsers and can hold up to 200 participants.
Present a WebEx Conference
SAIC employees can find information about presenting WebEx conferences on the ISSAIC web conferencing web site. A WebEx account is required to host a meeting.
Attend a WebEx Conference
To attend a meeting in WebEx, you can click on the link provided in your meeting invitation or access the WebEx site, click on Attend a Meeting on the left-hand navigation. Enter your meeting number and click "Join Now".
Present a Conference
An SAIC Username and Password is required to present a conference, and must be scheduled by an SAIC employee.
