CyberMaryland

SAIC is part of a CyberMaryland strategic public-private partnership that sponsors the CyberMaryland Conference, the annual Maryland Cyber Challenge and Competition (MDC3) and the National Cyber Security Hall of Fame awards.

About CyberMaryland

During Cyber Security Awareness Month in October, information security experts, business leaders and aspiring professionals gather to attend CyberMaryland , a two-day conference that showcases cybersecurity innovations, highlights emerging business growth opportunities and promotes preparation for the next generation of cyber professionals.

Maryland Cyber Challenge and Competition (MDC3)

MDC3 is the only event to offer three levels of competition among high school students, college students and professionals. Through a series of real-world cybersecurity games, teams battle and put their critical thinking skills to the test during the two-day finals at MDC3.

SAIC's CyberNEXS, the official platform for MDC3, powers cyber competitions around the world and used by government agencies and commercial organizations for members to recognize and defend against cyber attacks.

More than $90,000 is awarded through prizes and scholarships. The goal of MDC3 is to encourage Maryland students and young professionals to pursue education and careers in cybersecurity.
