Position Descriptions

Field Monitor

Debris Field Monitors will be responsible to validate the collection of debris from the public right-of-way. Employees in this position are the "on-site" monitor for the collection of debris. As a field monitor, you will observe disaster debris as it is loaded into hauling vehicles and document required information. Note: This position involves only monitoring cleanup - you will NOT need to participate in the physical cleanup of debris or supervise crews. Training offered.

Candidates must also meet these criteria:

• Your own reliable transportation, available for all day use
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently and legibly
• Submit to criminal background check
• Cell phone
• Valid Driver's License*
• Proof of Auto Insurance*
• Valid I9 documentation* — In addition to a valid driver's license, any one of the following…
  Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, Passport, or Green Card
• Ability to work 12-14 hours a day, possibly in inclement weather

*Must bring with you when you meet with an SAIC HR representative
