Plant Monitoring System
SAIC is a leading integrator of plant process computer systems for the power generation industry. We have supplied 85% of the installed base of nuclear plant monitoring systems in the U.S. These systems greatly improve the control room operators ability to respond to changing plant conditions.

Security Management System
The SAIC Security Management System (SAISMS) is a cohesive package integrating access control, intrusion detection and full redundancy. Optional subsystems include closed circuit television, training simulation and badging. SAISMS provides power plants with a totally reliable security system that integrates state-of-the-art technology with a user friendly man-machine interface.

Control Room Automation
SAICs Control Room Automation Suite, known as CORA, is a powerful combination of tools and consistent user interface that significantly reduces the chance for error, and improves safety, economics, and overall plant performance. Taking full advantage of the Windows interface, the user can enter or review data displayed in its most familiar form, including electrical schematics or fire zone drawings.

Combustion Optimization
Working with Net Power Solutions, SAIC provides integration services for NeuSIGHT™, a revolutionary solution that dynamically models the combustion process of fossil-fired plants for clean, efficient operations. NeuSIGHT reduces NOx emissions and improves heat rate while it reduces loss on ignition. With NeuSIGHT, utilities can increase operating flexibility and achieve a rapid return on investment.
