Our environmental policy demonstrates our commitment to implementing an Environmental Management System that conforms to the international standard ISO 14001.
Environmental Policy
SAIC Limited endeavours to reduce the impact of its business operations on the environment. It is our policy to:
- Conduct our activities to meet, or exceed, all applicable laws and regulations, and customer environmental requirements
- Regularly monitor equipment, facilities and business operations to ensure compliance.
- Strive to prevent pollution at source
- Take steps to avoid releases of hazardous substances and ensure that the means and training are in place to deal with accidental emissions
- Recycle waste where possible, or dispose of waste through safe and environmentally sound mechanisms
- Consider environmental impacts when planning business changes
- Communicate policy to all employees, sub-contractors and other interested parties
- Comply with the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management systems
