Existing Facilities Within 30 Minutes of Fort Meade

SAIC maintains three large facilities within 30 minutes of Fort Meade:

• 325,000 square feet of office space located in Columbia, Annapolis, and Linthicum
• Columbia facility hosts a training and conference center and integration lab space

Because of SAIC's significant Fort Meade presence, SAIC has facility capacity and "surge" capability to help customers transitioning to Fort Meade manage unforeseen requirements.

Advancing Area Education

SAIC impacts area education through:

• A vigorous internship program we operate with the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) which allows students to apply their academic experience in a hands-on work environment in several fields, like engineering, computer science and technology, all while working through the clearance process.
• Hosting a variety of educational outlets such as the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition with Towson University, University of Maryland Baltimore County and Community College of Baltimore County.
