3-D Urban Feature Data

SAIC's 3-D Urban Feature Data is a high-resolution database primarily used to support threat analysis and tactical planning in an urban environment.

LiDAR

SAIC processes light detection and ranging (LiDAR) data to discern and delineate a wealth of 3-D feature data and convert it into detailed urban feature data to support analysis and mission planning.

Photogrammetric

Photogrammetric mapping involves the extraction of terrain and feature data from imagery. Exploiting the numerous and varied sources of mapping imagery currently available, from aerial to satellite, demand a high level of expertise as well as familiarity with the sensors and products.

Digital Nautical Charts

SAIC has developed a digital capability for both continuous maintenance and vector product format (VPF) updates to provide current nautical data updates to a digital nautical charts database.

SAIC's Geographic Names Analysis (GeoNames) provides geospatial and linguistic analysis of existing cartographic sources to help ensure that named locations are correctly identified.

Geotypical Terrain Generation

SAIC develops realistic terrain scenarios for use in training and simulation applications. Advancements in geotypical terrain generation allow for rapid, cost-effective synthetic terrain that can be specifically designed and built to be characteristic of virtually any real-world area.

Stereo Airfields

The stereo airfield collection process produces high-fidelity aeronautical information and precise, comprehensive geospatial data for airfields around the globe.
