Epidemiology and Biostatistics Support
Through our epidemiology and biostatistics support services, SAIC helps our public health customers identify trends that may have an impact on public health practices and strategies, track the causes and risk factors associated with diseases, and evaluate the success of public health interventions. We employ a cadre of epidemiologists, biostatisticians and other research professionals who work with clients to perform simple to complex data analysis and scientific research.
The diverse expertise of SAIC epidemiologists and biostatisticians include cancer prevention, reproductive and maternal health, immunizations, sexually transmitted disease prevention, HIV/AIDS, disabilities, environmental health, bioterrorism and global health. With our assistance clients receive the data they need to detect potential public health threats, identify at-risk populations, and design and implement campaigns to promote healthy lifestyles and to prevent the spread of disease.
