Cloud Simulation Infrastructure (CSI)

SAIC's new service, called cloud simulation infrastructure (CSI), enables organizations to deploy simulation solutions directly to users at their remote sites without the infrastructure investment, implementation lead times and costs associated with legacy simulation approaches. SAIC is moving key simulation infrastructure components and resources into a common environment using virtualization and cloud technologies to provide easy, on demand access to modeling and simulation (M&S)-wherever and whenever customers need it.

CSI can save organizations time, resources and money. Using CSI means less time and fewer personnel needed for exercise set-up and execution, less hardware for exercise support and more resources to support multiple exercises conducted at the same time.

LightBox

SAIC's new lightbox technology dramatically accelerates and improves the validation and the quality of correlated, environmental databases for defense, government and commercial use. Terrain databases that once took several weeks to verify and validate, can take as little as four minutes with lightbox — saving time and human effort, reducing costs and accelerating delivery. Lightbox capabilities include:

• Tests, verifies and validates correlation between geospatial terrain databases
• Consumes databases as large as 180 x 120 kilometers
• Simultaneously ingests multiple output formats such as OpenFlight and One Semi-Automated Forces (OneSAF®) Terrain Format 8 (OTF8)
• Performs automated correlation tests in a matter of minutes
• Automatically detects discrepancies in features, elevations, and terrains
• Uses advanced GPU technology to highlight validated and error geo-cells

OLIVE ™ 3.0

SAIC's On-Line Interactive Virtual Environment (OLIVE) version 3.0 is introducing a new standard for virtual reality and human interaction on one of the industry's leading, enterprise-grade virtual world (VW) platforms today. Virtual Command Simulation Environment (VCSE)

SAIC's Virtual Command Simulation Environment (VCSE) features the capabilities of OLIVE in a series of realistic, multi-echelon, domain-focused virtual demonstrations including constructive feeds from OneSAF.

• Detection of Rogue Nation Missile Testing and Defense where a United Nations treaty inspection team is distracted by a cyber attack that is covering up an attempted missile test launch by red forces
• Counter-Terrorist Combined Arms Coordination in the Florida Central Research Park featuring the disabling of security network monitors during a terrorist assault at the Orlando International Airport and the interaction of blue and red forces through OneSAF
• Urban Cyber Defense Operations in the Port of San Diego where an aggressive cyber attacker freezes port operations and populates the harbor with ghost ships
• First Responder Emergency Medical Simulation featuring triage and medical team training in response to citizen injuries suffered in a mass casualty event

Combat Training Center Instrumentation Systems (CTC-IS)

With more than 30 years of experience in developing and delivering CTC Instrumentation Systems, SAIC provides advanced, reliable, high performance communication systems and infrastructure for live training, mission rehearsals and joint service training at the large scale CTCs, Homestations and smaller flexible training sites across the globe.

SAIC delivers an end-to-end, networked, live training communications solution with the following:

• The required live training range products, including the instrumented participant Tactical Engagement Simulation Systems (TESS) and GPS/Radio System,
• The range communications infrastructure systems that transport the voice, video, and data communications to enable comprehensive exercise control and after action review.
