Management Team
Dr. Indranil Chakravarty
Dr. Chakravarty is the chief executive of India operations for SAIC Commercial Business Services Business Unit. He is responsible for management and implementation of project services for SAIC India, focusing on emerging technology computing applications in exploration and production (E&P), medicine and related technologies.
Dr. Chakravarty received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from New York University and master of science degree and Ph.D. in computer and systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
He has extensive experience in product development and scientific and engineering technology management with Schlumberger and Siemens in the U.S. He was vice president of XOX Corporation; a National Science Foundation Small Business Innovative Research funded startup that developed multidimensional geometric computing kernels for the E&P industry. He co-founded Scicom Technologies in India that focused on services to the scientific and technical information technology (IT) sector.
Sudipta Gautam
Mr. Gautam is responsible for managing SAIC India operations. He manages the projects and service delivery operations at both locations. Sudipta also has an oversight of the country support functions which include Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Contracts, Project Control, Resource Management as well as Admin and Facilities.
Mr. Gautam graduated from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University with a bachelor of technology degree in chemical engineering. He also recieved a post graduate diploma in management from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He is a senior professional executive with extensive global experience in executive management, international business development, sales, strategic marketing, client management and operations.
For the past 12 years he has been intimately involved in senior leadership positions in IT organizations to help create successful cross border businesses and value propositions between India and North America/UK/South East Asia.
Mr. Gautam started his career as a brand manager at United Breweries, India and has held senior positions at Xansa, North America, IIS Infotech, India/UK and Tata Unisys Ltd., India/U.S./UK. He has managed mergers and acquisitions in IT/information technology enterprise solutions companies and has a rich experience in operations of international business.
