Methodology
V-Model
V-ModelOur testing methodology uses verification and validation processes to reduce defects at every stage of a system's development. We offer a variety of testing models, including V and agile development models.
SAIC India's primary testing application is HP Quality Center, formerly Mercury Interactive Test Director, which ensures comprehensive test coverage through a requirements traceability matrix. We also use Quality Center as a test case repository and defect management tool.
Our approach and methodologies fully comply with many industry standards for testing, including:
- BS 7925-2, Standard for Software Component Testing
- Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Standard 829, Standard for Test Documentation
