- Department of Homeland Security EAGLE Contract
SAIC has been selected as a prime contractor on the recently awarded Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) EAGLE (Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions) contract. The Department-wide contract will be used to provide information technology solutions to DHS and the agencies that support its mission. SAIC and our industry teammates, especially our small businesses teammates, are ready to provide solutions and services to support the vital needs of DHS. Our downtown Washington, D.C., EAGLE Project Management Office (PMO) is staffed and eager to continue supporting the agencies involved in our homeland security mission with the wide variety of leading-edge services and solutions SAIC and our teammates provide.
SAIC is leading a team as the prime contractor in four Functional Categories (FCs): Infrastructure Engineering, Operations and Maintenance, Software Development, and Management Support Services. Of the 25 companies selected for the unrestricted-track awards, SAIC was one of only four contractors to receive awards in four functional categories. This multi-award contract covers a five-year period of performance with two option years.
- SAIC Accredited by NIAP as Common Criteria Testing Laboratory
On August 24, 2000 SAIC's Trust Technology Assessment Program (TTAP) Evaluation Facility (TEF) received National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) accreditation as a Common Criteria Testing Laboratory (CCTL), one of the first U.S. commercial laboratories to be placed on the NIAP CCEVS Approved Laboratories List.
