Why evaluate?

The Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) mandates the use of a common identification credential for both logical and physical access to federally controlled facilities and information systems for federal employees and contractors. GSA FIPS 201 Evaluation Program

SAIC is accredited to perform testing in the GSA FIPS 201 Evaluation Program. The GSA evaluation program is a unique program that requires constant maintenance of approved products. Once approved, you will need to ensure that your product is compliant with the latest approval procedures. SAIC can assist you in successfully navigating the GSA evaluation program and help you maintain approval for your products.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology Personal Identity Verification Program (NPIVP) Testing

As an National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) accredited laboratory (NVLAP Code 200427-0 and 200492-0), SAIC can perform testing on PIV Card Applications and PIV Middleware products to ensure compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-73-1. Our team has been performing NPIVP testing since the program's establishment, validating the first PIV Middleware product and the second Card Application product. This experience makes us well-equipped to provide solutions to issues that arise during testing.
