Side Channel Vulnerability Analysis

SAIC's CSTL offers side channel vulnerability analysis. We have mounted side channel attacks against different implementations (both hardware and software) of symmetric and asymmetric algorithms. We have experience with timing, power consumption, fault analysis, and cache-based attacks in addition to evaluating counter mechanisms designed to increase the difficulty of or prevent such attacks.

SAIC has reviewed Triple-DES, AES, DSA, SHA, RSA, and ECDSA implementations as well as common methods (blinding, constant execution implementation, fault-checking, etc.) to prevent attacks against these algorithms. SAIC can review and test your cryptographic implementations to determine whether they are vulnerable to such attacks.
