Integrated Tactical Systems

SAIC develops and integrates systems for processing, storage, retrieval, and dissemination of data to make it highly usable for exploitation, analysis, and security at the tactical level.

Tactical Systems Overview

SAIC played a key role in developing the portable Biometrics Automated Toolset (BAT). The BAT system is used by soldiers on patrol and base security personnel to access fingerprint, iris, and facial scans for border control.

SAIC is also bringing the vision of ubiquitous visibility of the battlespace to life with the Pursuit and Exploitation (P&E) system for multi-functional teams. Providing commanders timely, relevant, and robust multi-intelligence capabilities to facilitate decision-making where risk to force is greatest, the SAIC P&E system provides immediate intelligence necessary to support full-spectrum operations in real time.

In addition, SAIC has been at the forefront of solutions for border security for the past 20 years, and its Integrated Wide Area Surveillance System (IWASS) is an intelligence-based operational solution that is easily integrated with other technologies. IWASS has been tested in the field and is ready to deploy, providing uninterrupted surveillance within a prescribed area of coverage.
