Maritime Systems

Expertise in maritime data collection and information processing as well as end-to-end development of advanced maritime systems and platforms and anti-submarine warfare (ASW) techniques.

Maritime Systems Overview

SAIC’s expertise in maritime intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) technology development includes the tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) of ocean, and more broadly, maritime data and information, as well as the end- to-end development of advanced maritime systems and platforms. Our knowledge spans both government and commercial markets with a principal focus on ISR mission solutions to support the warfighter based on cutting-edge research and development.

Maritime platforms include distributed netted systems and both manned and unmanned autonomous vehicles, prototype development, and at-sea test and measurement. SAIC’s expertise also includes high-fidelity acoustic modeling, simulation, and training; robust fire control and communications networks; hydrographic survey; ocean operations, including bottom survey and sub-sea hardware installation; maritime environmental modeling and simulation; hydrodynamics; unmanned vehicles — surface (USVs)/undersea (UUVs); and development of small combatant craft.
