For example, SAIC was recently awarded a follow-on contract to provide global network managed services to INEOS, a manufacturer of petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, and oil products. SAIC will assume operational control of all INEOS Global Network Services, managing the operation, maintenance and monitoring of INEOS global wide area network, including perimeter security, Internet browsing, intrusion prevention and infrastructure. Work will be performed in the U.S., United Kingdom and other international locations in Europe and Asia as part of a remote operations management IT outsourcing engagement.

To achieve economies of scale and reduce service delivery costs to our customers, SAIC developed the Integrated Services Management Center (ISMC) concept — a state-of-the-art service delivery center for managing communications and computing infrastructures, including mainframes, distributed computers, desktops, and networks in multi-vendor, heterogeneous environments.

Through our various government contract vehicles, we are able to conveniently provide a broad range of IT services to any federal agency. Our support ranges from providing enterprise-level IT services for the entire U.S. Army personnel community to developing a virtual university that will serve the U.S. intelligence community.
