We continue to provide in-depth analytical and training services to assist countries in developing effective measures to deal with terrorism.
Training Support for the Interagency Counterdrug Management Exercise
SAIC provided training services to the National Interagency Counterdrug Institute under the auspices of the California National Guard. We provided services in the exercise portion of the one-week Counterdrug Manager's and the Drug Prevention Demand Reduction Courses. Services included conducting exercises at sites nationwide; developing and maintaining a comprehensive resource guide on national policies, resources and organizations committed to supply reduction; creating regional-specific instructional exercises; and designing computer software and graphics to enhance the presentation of the exercise.
Support to State Police Agencies
SAIC developed the training program materials for a 16-week State of Maryland residential police officer certification program for the Maryland Police Corps. In the first ever effort, SAIC was chosen to work with the Maryland Governor's Office to deliver a program of instruction oriented on college graduates who would be assigned to community-oriented policing activities in metropolitan areas experiencing high crime rates, poverty, and urban blight. Program focus was on neighboring policing functions, ethics and morality, and intensive physical conditioning.
Computer-Based Training J.C. Penny Card Access/Alarm System
For the J.C. Penny Company, SAIC developed a computer-based training program to train company personnel on a new access control and alarm monitoring system. The course addresses the functions and operations of the access control and alarm monitoring modules, a real-time simulation of typical alarm events, and a practical examination.

In conjunction with the Louisiana State University, we develop courses and provide instructor and training specialist services to the Department of State's Antiterrorism Training Assistance Program. More than 7,000 students from 40 countries have consistently given high marks to the curriculum content and delivery.
