Information

November 2012 The Synthetic Environment Core (SE Core) is the U.S. Army's Common Virtual Environment initiative to link virtual training simulation devices into an integrated and interoperable training system for warfighters across the full spectrum of service, joint, interagency, intergovernment and multinational operations. SE Core provides a common synthetic environment (SE) core with an embedded toolkit of virtual, reusable components common to multiple training simulation systems worldwide. Its common virtual simulation architecture links simulations into an integrated, dynamically composable, training capability that supports battlefield operations, capability sustainment training, and mission planning/rehearsal.
