About the Program

The U.S. Army is seeking Operation & Maintenance (O&M) support for communications equipment and information systems in Southwest and Central Asia in support of the 160th Signal Brigade, its subordinate units and the Southwest Asia Theater Network Operations Security Center (SWA TNOSC). The mission of the 160th Signal Brigade is to maintain a forward deployed, theater signal brigade to engineer, install, operate, maintain, and protect the Army Operational Base Communications Information Systems in support of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces.

The Operations, Maintenance, and Defense of Army Communications – Southwest Asia and Central Asia (OMDAC-SWACA) program will provide a full range of O&M support in various IT environments to include hardware, software, application, tool, system and network support. The work spans a wide range of systems and infrastructure across various lifecycle stages with a broad geographic footprint across Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, and other Southwest Asia or Central Asia locations, as required.

SAIC has formed an outstanding team of small and large companies to pursue OMDAC-SWACA and provide advanced O&M services to the Department of the Army, Network Enterprise Technology Command/9th Signal Command, and the 160th Signal Brigade.
