Tailored PI Programs

Expert Coaching and Mentoring

Our consultants each bring years of practical experience implementing high-quality processes for system engineering, software development, hardware development, production and service delivery. In addition to their experience with these technical processes, they have extensive experience in organizational change management and communication strategies, and state-of-the art improvement methods, techniques and tools including application of Lean Six Sigma improvement techniques.

This experience can be applied in a range of consulting activities: from general organizational staff augmentation; to process development; to one-on-one business performance coaching for your development team members, team leads, and management. PI mentors also provide process improvement consulting at the project level.

Measurement Programs

Appraisal Services

Our appraisers have many years of experience and thus can effectively adapt to specific business environments, rather than breaking your business model to fit the CMMI. Appraisals can be used to perform a gap analysis or baseline your organization's processes so a plan can be made to achieve your business's process objectives. Our consultants can help map your organization's processes and artifacts to CMMI.

Appraisals can be used to ascertain progress against process improvement plans and to verify the readiness of existing capabilities to achieve maturity level or capability level ratings. Finally, formal appraisals can be performed to verify that your organization has actually achieved a maturity level or capability level(s).

SAIC is an SEI Partner for delivering Standard CMMI Appraisal for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) appraisal services for both CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVC. We offer the complete range of CMMI-based appraisals including official and formal SCAMPI A, B and C appraisals, as well as less formal Appraisal Requirements for CMMI (ARC) Class B and C appraisals.

Our certified appraisers can perform the following official SCAMPI services:
