Can the system be modified to accommodate new airframes?

Yes. SAIC can adapt the MPS technology based on customer criteria. SAIC has made adaptations for both US and foreign aircraft.

In addition to fixed-wing aircraft, are rotary-wing aircraft supported?

Yes. SAIC's MPS supports the mission planning needs for several helicopters including the MH-60 BLACK HAWK, EH-101, WAH-64 APACHE, MH-53 SEA DRAGON, AH-1 COBRA, UH-1 HUEY, CH-47 CHINOOK, and AH-64 APACHE.

What types of missions are supported?

SAIC's MPS supports various roles including transport and tactical missions, weapons delivery, anti-surface and anti-submarine warfare, minesweeping missions, etc.

What type of electronic map data is supported?

CADRG (Compressed ARC Digitized Raster Graphics), CIB (Controlled Image Base), GeoTIFF (Georeferenced Tagged Image File Format), and DTED (Digital Terrain Elevation Data) for use in mission planning and debriefing.
