WYITT™
WYITT is an integrated suite of software tools used for network planning. It is designed to support escalating emergency response requirements.
Overview
WYITT is an integrated suite of software tools used for network planning.
Applications
The WYITT software is designed to support the unique bottom-up escalating emergency response requirements for Statewide Communications Interoperability Planning (SCIP) methodology. The suite provides an optional interface to existing real-time network management software tools to provide enhanced situational awareness with a network Common Operational Picture (COP). This interface also provides the ability to retrieve automated network discovery data from the network management system and create a plan in the WYITT software.
Features
The WYITT software provides users with the following capabilities:
- Deliberate planning
- Collaboration tools to enable users to share network plans
- Contingency planning to allow users to save and share plans before an event occurs
- Generation of reporting artifacts
- Generation of management plans in XML format for import into integrated Network Management System
Benefits
Traditionally, network planning systems were very complex. The WYITT software leverages existing Microsoft Office® functionality for ease of use, reduced training time, and security updates provided by Microsoft.
Many existing systems charge expensive annual licensing fees in addition to product cost. The WYITT software does not have the annual licensing fee.
