OLIVE support services are designed for customers, users, resellers and teammates.
Overview
Before you contact OLIVE Support:
- Search the Knowledge Base. Frequently asked questions and resolutions to existing issues can be found here.
- If no solution is found in the Knowledge Base, email OLIVEhelp@saic.com with a description of the problem. Attaching additional information (i.e., DirectX® Diagnostic (dxdiag)), screenshots, log files, and crash dumps will expedite our response to your issue. For more information on what files to attach to the email, search the Knowledge Base for "What to send to SAIC OLIVE Support?"

OLIVE System Requirements
There are some basic things that you can check to see if your system is capable of running OLIVE. The information below will give you an idea if you meet the basic requirements.
Recommended Desktop Environment for the OLIVE Client or Software Development Kit (SDK):

| Audio | Audio system with microphone and headphone jacks (recommend Creative Labs® Sound Blaster Audigy® series). A headset with a medium to high quality microphone (recommend Plantronics® models). |
Recommended Laptop Environment for the Client or SDK:

Minimum Linux® Server Environment:
This configuration can handle an expected load of five avatars and only the small conference room scenes. Performance will suffer if you attempt to load the

Network:
To use OLIVE, you'll need to be able to connect to the Internet via cable modem, digital subscriber line (DSL), or integrated services digital network (ISDN) provider. A minimum bandwidth of 128 kbs is required. You can also connect to OLIVE through a corporate T1 or local area network (LAN) connection.

Providing easy access to OLIVE for customers
The OLIVE Self Service Portal is for current customers. It enables customers to add tickets and track any active ones. It is linked to salesforce.com®.
