1. What version of ArcGIS Desktop software is GeoRover software products developed for?
GeoRover software products are a suite of extensions for the ArcMap™ component of Esri® ArcGIS 8.x / 9.x, and 10. GeoRover software products work in all ArcGIS licensing levels (ArcView®, ArcEditor™, ArcInfo®).
2. Are GeoRover software products government off-the-shelf (GOTS) products?
No. All GeoRover software products are commercially licensed software products that can be purchased directly from SAIC or through SAIC GeoRover software resellers (see FAQ # 6 for more details).

5. What devices and platforms are required to use the GeoRover Mobile solution?
Android™ platform version 2.1 or above is required for the GeoRover Mobile application to be installed and activated.
The mobile device market changes very quickly. Please contact us for required mobile device information to use the GeoRover Mobile solution.
*Bluetooth® GPS receivers can be used to obtain additional locational accuracy for most devices when network connection is unavailable.
6. What steps are required to install the GeoRover Mobile Solution?

7. Is SAIC a member of the Esri Partner Network and a reseller of Environmental Systems Research Institute (Esri®) software?

8. Are GeoRover software products available on GSA schedule?
Yes. Most of the GeoRover software products, training, & software maintenance are available on GSA SmartBUY schedule, Contract #GSQ0009AE0022. Information pertaining to GeoRover software on the GSA SmartBUY schedule is available via these links:

10. Are there different GeoRover software, maintenance, and training pricing options?
Yes. GeoRover software, maintenance, and training are available on three pricing schedules:
- Commercial/International
- Federal, State, and Local Government (GSA SmartBUY)
- Academic
There are also quantity based discounts for GeoRover software products and maintenance. Contact us for specific pricing details.
11. Is there a GeoRover software maintenance program available?
Yes. The GeoRover software maintenance program provides a cost-effective means to keep current on software updates, and receive technical support on GeoRover related issues or questions. Contact us for further details.
12. How do I purchase GeoRover software products?

14. Where do I get the license file for my GeoRover software?
The license file is e-mailed to the Point of Contact in the contract award document. Contact the software manager for your organization to request the license file. If additional assistance is required, please contact us with the details of your purchase order.
15. What training is available for GeoRover software products?
We work with each customer to ensure personnel are fully trained using GeoRover software. For users that have no experience with ArcGIS, we recommend 3 days to cover an introduction to Esri ArcGIS Desktop software and the GeoRover software extensions. 16. Do GeoRover software products come with user manuals?
Yes. GeoRover software products come with in-depth, self-instruction manuals.
To view these manuals, navigate to Start --> Programs --> GeoRover --> User Guides.
17. Can I edit geodatabases with the GeoRover Locus Track Extension?
Yes. GeoRover software can edit personal, file, and enterprise geodatabases. The GeoRover Locus Track extension is compatible with ArcSDE® geodatabases - thus it fully scales for the enterprise. You can take advantage of the Esri architecture while making it easy and intuitive using GeoRover software tools.
18. Does the GeoRover Digital Data Tracker extension require a specific camera?
No. Nearly any digital camera will work with the GeoRover Digital Data Tracker extension.
19. What software is required to operate GeoRover software products?
ArcGIS 8.x, 9.x, or 10 is required to operate GeoRover software products; the product extensions work in all ArcGIS licensing levels (ArcView, ArcEditor, and ArcInfo).
20. Can GeoRover software products be customized for user specific requirements?
