P3_RCS

Overview

P3_RCS refers to software that can be used to facilitate the generation of geometry files for RCSSIG, SIG2D, or SIGLBC from models built using the CAD package P3/PATRAN.

Applications

P3_RCS is used with PATRAN to generate geometry files for complex models such as aircrafts and ships to be used as input to RCS codes.

Product Features

• Database template specific to each of three RCS codes RCSSIG, SIG2D, SIGLBC
• Software written in PATRAN command language, PCL is used to generate the templates
• Surface definitions and material properties are specified within PATRAN from the properties/materials menu
• Translator translates PATRAN neutral file into geometry files in the correct format
• Translators written in FORTRAN and runs on UNIX platform
