Pathfinder

Overview

Pathfinder is a web-based software application that is extensively used for data mining and knowledge discovery. Currently deployed at many locations with a large user base, Pathfinder rapidly sorts through structured and unstructured data to extract meaningful information that an analyst can then further refine through the use of Pathfinder knowledge discovery tools.

Applications

The components of Pathfinder consist of a search engine, a text extractor, and a set of a variety tools that help analysts wade through millions of data sets to draw insights and conclusions. Pathfinder results can be shared, and collaboration features make knowledge discovery a true team effort.

Features

Pathfinder is being used in a variety of domains well beyond the traditional military intelligence application. Information warfare, computer forensics, law enforcement investigative case management, terrorism link analysis, litigation support, financial investigations and money laundering, internet activity, competitive business intelligence, and a host of other applications make Pathfinder an indispensable part of any indications and warning or predictive intelligence operation.
