Overview

SAIC's OCR solutions offer flexible combinations of the most advanced image acquisition and computer-based image enhancement technologies to increase terminal productivity, efficiency, accuracy, security and safety.

Our OCR solutions can include the following sub-components:

• A video inspection portal to enhance damage recognition and automatically identify a transportation unit (such as a container or a chassis). Our gate processing system, which can use a combination of advanced digital imaging technologies, interactive kiosk, radio frequency (RF) identification, and OCR to process drivers, vehicles and cargo at an intermodal site. • A gate/pedestal processing system to identify containers, chassis and tractors, entering and exiting a facility. Our system is designed to improve the transfer of containers and trailers in the transportation distribution terminals.
