Using a combination of different image types such as radar, acoustic, infrared, ultraviolet, and visible light, SAIC technologists work with U.S. imagery analysts to find people and objects that are obscured from view. SAIC's remote sensing software is vital to our nation's security; the technology enables us to see underwater to secure our ports, to assist in search and rescue missions by identifying where airplanes have crashed, to identify people in a hostage situation, and to locate drug traffickers in a remote jungle.
