SAIC Incentives
In an ongoing effort to increase small business participation, SAIC has implemented the following incentives for its employees committed to teaming and promoting small business participation.
Incentives for SAIC Employees committed to SB Development
Created a pool of stock options available annually to incentives our business units who exceed customer requirements stated under SAIC contracts.
Established a bid and proposal overhead pool to increase the participation of small disadvantaged businesses, women-owned businesses, HUBZone, service disabled veterans and Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions.
Established a Small Business of the Year Award program.
Established an SAIC Annual Achievement Award for small business utilization. This award goes to SAIC's business unit with exemplary performance.
Established small business action officers (advocates) for each of the six operating groups and respective business units who collaboratively work with each other and SAIC's Corporate Small Business Development Program.
These incentives combined with our entrepreneurial orientation strengthen our commitment to working with small businesses. We recognize the value small business bring to both our customers and our company. The innovation and creativity offered by our teammates strengthen our core philosophy, “small business is good business.”
